Its products include DataStore, PriceHub, MarketHub, AgriTools, and AGVISOR, covering agricultural data, commodity intelligence, market information, analytics, trading, and decision-support workflows.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with transportation companies, logistics providers, and warehousing companies that move and store agricultural and commodity products.

You will understand customer workflows and data, build practical solutions using Farmioc's agricultural, commodity, and market intelligence, and take those solutions from problem discovery through implementation and production.

• Work with operations, supply-chain, data, and technology stakeholders to understand customer workflows, data, and technical requirements.

• Translate business problems into concrete solutions such as freight demand forecasting, seasonal capacity planning, trade-flow analysis, and warehouse utilization.

• Build customer-facing solutions using Python, SQL, databases, REST services, and data-processing workflows.

• Integrate customer data with Farmioc datasets covering production forecasts, crop calendars, commodity prices, supply and demand, imports, exports, and market information.

• Map customer locations, warehouses, and commodities to relevant Farmioc regions, markets, and commodity data.

• Develop data pipelines, analytical workflows, dashboards, scripts, and application components.

• Prototype, validate, and take successful solutions into production.

• Develop analysis and forecasts that help customers anticipate freight demand and commodity movement using agricultural production, crop calendars, trade flows, and market data.

• Apply LLMs, RAG, or AI agents where they provide clear business value, such as weekly volume and market briefings for logistics planners.

• Validate data, analytical results, and AI outputs before they are used in customer workflows.

• Work with customer technology and security teams to test, deploy, and validate solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, database, integration, and performance issues.

• Document integrations, workflows, technical decisions, and operational requirements.

• Identify recurring customer requirements that can become reusable Farmioc product capabilities.

• Evaluate whether requirements should be addressed through existing Farmioc capabilities, customer-specific solutions, or product enhancements.

• Share customer feedback and implementation learnings with product and engineering teams.

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, or a related field.

• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience working with databases and data-processing workflows.

• Experience building and deploying production applications, data solutions, or analytical systems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and work directly with stakeholders.

• Solid debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements, changing priorities, and customer-driven problems.

• Experience with transportation companies, logistics providers, or warehousing companies.

• Understanding of agri-commodity logistics, such as harvest-season freight demand, mandi-to-warehouse movement, or storage operations.

• Experience working with agricultural, commodity, logistics, transportation, trade, or market datasets.

• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, batch/file-based integrations, APIs, data governance, or customer security requirements.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, dashboards, LLMs/RAG, AI agents, Docker, cloud, or CI/CD.

• Forecast seasonal freight volumes by region using Farmioc production forecasts and crop calendars, so logistics providers can plan fleet capacity before harvest.

• Build a view of domestic and international trade flows for key commodities to support logistics providers' sales and network-planning teams.

• Plan warehouse capacity around expected harvest volumes and commodity price outlooks that can influence storage and commodity movement.

• Work at the intersection of agriculture, commodities, transportation, logistics, data, and AI.

• Work closely with customers and engineering teams to solve real-world planning and intelligence problems and take solutions into production.

• Gain ownership of customer implementations and help shape how Farmioc products are used across transportation and supply-chain workflows.

• Build on Farmioc's growing agricultural and commodity intelligence platform and turn high-value customer problems into scalable capabilities.
