About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build intuitive, reliable, and high-performance web applications across Farmioc's products.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, data engineers, and AI teams to turn complex agricultural and commodity data into simple, useful user experiences. You will contribute to products such as PriceHub, MarketHub, DataStore, and AgriTools, working across data exploration, analytics, visualization, marketplace workflows, and AI-powered applications.

What You'll Do

• Build responsive and accessible web applications that work across desktop and mobile for users with varying levels of digital literacy.

• Develop reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture and engineering standards.

• Build data-intensive interfaces such as dashboards, tables, charts, filters, search, and pagination for products like PriceHub, MarketHub, DataStore, and AI-powered tools like AgriTools.

• Present complex agricultural and commodity datasets clearly and accurately through interactive visualizations.

• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services, working closely with backend, data, and AI engineers.

• Optimize applications for performance and reliability, including for low-bandwidth connections.

• Identify and resolve UI, functional, and performance issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.

• Work with product and design teams to translate requirements into production-ready features.

What You Will Have

• 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with React.js. Experience with Next.js is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern web development fundamentals.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON-based data.

• Experience building dashboards, analytics interfaces, or data-driven applications.

• Good understanding of reusable component design and frontend state management.

• Understanding of browser performance, accessibility, and frontend optimization.

• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, ECharts, or Chart.js.

• Experience working with large datasets or data-intensive applications.

• Experience building map-based or geospatial interfaces.

• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or similar testing tools.

• Experience building mobile-first or low-bandwidth web applications.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered applications.

• Experience building multilingual or internationalized (i18n) interfaces.

• Experience with marketplace, analytics, agriculture, commodity, or other data-driven products.

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and APIs.
