We combine agricultural data, software, analytics, and AI to help businesses make informed decisions across the agricultural ecosystem.
About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to own and strengthen quality across Farmioc’s web applications, APIs, data workflows, and AI-powered features.
You will work closely with product, frontend, backend, data, and AI teams throughout the product development lifecycle. You will help define test strategies, validate complex data and business workflows, automate critical test scenarios, and ensure our products deliver reliable and consistent experiences for users.
You will contribute to products including PriceHub, MarketHub, DataStore, and AgriTools.
What You’ll Do
Design and execute test plans and test cases for web applications, APIs, data workflows, and AI-powered features across PriceHub, MarketHub, DataStore, and AgriTools.

Test dashboards, charts, filters, search, pagination, forms, and marketplace workflows including offer posting, negotiation, listing expiration, and alerts.
Validate commodity prices, units (₹/quintal vs ₹/kg), dates, and market coverage against source data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Test REST APIs for request and response validation, business rules, error handling, and edge cases.
Test AI-powered features such as AgriTools for output consistency, edge-case inputs, and incorrect or unsafe recommendations.
Perform cross-browser, responsive, accessibility, and low-bandwidth testing across desktop and mobile environments.
Validate user interfaces across supported languages, including translation, formatting, layout, and localization behavior.
Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright for critical user journeys and repeatable regression scenarios.
Investigate, document, prioritize, and track defects, and work closely with engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify testability gaps, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios early.
Support release validation, production issue investigation, and continuous improvements to QA processes.
What You Will Have
3–5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect management.
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and API testing.
Experience testing modern web applications and responsive user interfaces.

Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues across both functionality and data.
Ability to write clear test cases, defect reports, and test documentation.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automated API testing and test frameworks.
Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe or Lighthouse.
Experience testing applications under throttled or slow network conditions.
