About the Role

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to design and improve the interfaces of TridaPad.

TridaPad's UI is built on Ant Design, and you'll design within and extend that component set. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, AI, Data, and customers to understand user workflows, turn requirements into designs, and improve how users interact with data, analytics, and AI-assisted features.

What You'll Do

Product Design

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for web applications.

• Design loading, empty, error, and other edge states for data-heavy workflows.

Data & Analytics UX

• Design the SQL editor, query result tables, Plotly charts, maps, pivot tables, and dashboards.

• Design workflows for alerts, scheduled queries, saved queries, and data exploration.

AI Product UX

• Design how AgentSQL shows its progress while it works, lets users review and edit generated SQL, and signals when an answer may be wrong.

• Design conversational interactions for asking questions, reviewing responses, and taking actions on generated results.

Design System

• Build a Figma component library matching our Ant Design components, and help retire legacy Bootstrap 3 styles.

• Define component states, interaction patterns, and usage guidelines.

User Research & Validation

• Gather feedback from users and customers to understand usability issues and workflow gaps.

• Create prototypes to validate workflows and design decisions before development.

• Conduct usability testing and use feedback to refine designs.

Developer Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend developers during implementation.

• Provide clear design specifications, interaction details, and component states.

• Review implemented interfaces and provide feedback on visual and interaction quality.

Ownership

You'll own design work from understanding the problem through design, validation, and implementation, working closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, AI, Data, QA, and customers.

What You'll Bring

• 3–5 years of professional UI/UX or product design experience.

• Experience designing web applications.

• Strong understanding of user flows, wireframes, prototyping, and visual design.

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools.

• Ability to simplify complex workflows and technical concepts into usable interfaces.

• Understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction patterns.

• Experience working closely with developers and product teams.

• A portfolio showing web application work, ideally data-heavy or B2B products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing SaaS, enterprise, analytics, or data-intensive applications.

• Experience designing SQL editors, dashboards, tables, charts, maps, or data exploration workflows.

• Experience designing AI, LLM, conversational, or agent-based product interfaces.

• Experience with Ant Design, Figma component libraries, and design systems.

• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.

• Experience conducting usability testing or user interviews.
